Disneyland Snacks on a Budget

Snacking at Disneyland to pass the time waiting in a line or anxiously waiting for a show to begin is essential right? We think yes, but it doesn't have to break the bank! Here are some of our favorite budget friendly snacks in the parks.

Churros

Where can I get a churro at Disneyland you may ask? More like where can you not get a churro at Disneyland. They’re everywhere and if you can’t see it, you can smell it. That cinnamon dusted deliciousness practically calls your name. Classic churros are $5.25 each and are worth every penny.

You may be asking, what is a "classic" churro? Disneyland and California Adventure release specialty churros with fun flavors depending on the season, but increase the cost by a dollar or so. The classic cinnamon churro is under $6 and easily shareable for little ones. We won't guarantee there won't be a mess of cinnamon sugar, but they sure are delicious!

Ice Cream

When the temperature rises for Summer at Disneyland, my favorite budget friendly snack is a Mickey premium ice cream bar. These chocolate covered ice cream bars are only $5.75 and will cool you down on a hot day and won't break the bank.

Clarabelle’s in Mickey’s Toontown offers soft serve frozen yogurt and you can even add a topping on a small cup for just about $5! You can also order park staples like Mickey’s Ice Cream Bar, Frozen Lemonade and Mickey Ice Cream Sandwich all for under five bucks.

Where is the Dole Whip you may ask? Even though it’s over $5 we still love it! We wanted to keep most of these options under $5, but Dole Whip is just so worth the extra few bucks.

What’s your top pick for ice cream at Disneyland?

Pastries

Disneyland pastries just seem to taste better than pastries anywhere else.

Fiddler, Fifer & Practical Cafe on Buena Vista Street hits the spot when you’re serious about your pastries. Croissants, muffins, scones, cinnamon roll, you name it and they’ve probably got it. All these snacks for under $5.

Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe on Main Street, U.S.A. is one of my top spots to eat for any meal or snack. Filled with assorted desserts like lemon blueberry bundt cake, mousse brownie, Matterhorn Macaroon, sugar cookies and more. You’ll be glad you made a Disneyland snack stop here.

Pretzels

Right on budget are the delicious Mickey shaped pretzels. At just $5 for a huge pretzel, you can buy one of these and split it to make it last in between meals or tide the kiddos over during a show.
